    Design

Through the use of Steel Engine™, Trigon Steel is able to detail metal truss projects with  greater efficiency and accuracy. Built on AutoCAD Architecture (ACA) and Aegis Design, Steel Engine provides state-of-the-art dynamic framing capabilities, to grant the cold formed industry with a comprehensive building design solution.

What does this mean for you? Trigon is able to detail your project in real space, giving us the ability to find issues in the truss system, offer viable solutions, and initiate an agreed upon solution, all before they cause a delay on your project on site.

Trigon Steel’s manufacturing process is based on this 3D model, allowing for the accuracy  within ACA and Steel Engine to pass through from the computer screen to the physical assembly of each truss in our facility. This eliminates any potential errors when a project  moves through departments.

    Delivery

Trigon Steel wants to make the delivery process as worry free for our clients as we can. By maintaining solid communication between the installer and the client, we help coordinate product and installation flow; ensuring that, whenever possible, only the necessary trusses will arrive on each delivery helping to increase installation productivity and limit the need for onsite storage of the trusses.

    The first delivery will include:

    • Truss Layout Plan
    • Engineered Individual Truss Drawings
    • Permanent Truss Bracing Plan
    • Truss-To-Structure Connection Clips
    • Permanent Truss Bracing Material
    • Fastener Driver for removal of bundle material
    • Delivery Ticket

Every subsequent delivery will include the truss layout plan, delivery ticket, fastener driver, and any remaining bracing and connection material.

If any questions should arise after a delivery has been made, please contact any one of our staff and they’ll be able to assist you right away.
